Welcome to The Crawl Co.

We’re all about isopods.

The Crawl Co. started from a simple moment of curiosity. My interest in the hobby began when I was exploring leopard geckos and came across a seller who also offered isopods. At first, I didn’t know much about them. I just thought they looked interesting and cute, but I didn’t yet understand their purpose.

After a few weeks, I kept seeing them again, and something clicked. I started researching more about isopods—watching videos, reading, and learning about their role in ecosystems and the hobby. That curiosity quickly turned into fascination. Eventually, I decided to get my first colony, and that was the moment everything started.

One night, while thinking about the hobby, I felt inspired to create something of my own—a page dedicated to isopods. What started as an idea slowly grew into The Crawl Co., and it continues to grow, evolve, and improve every day.

The Crawl Co. was built from passion, curiosity, and genuine love for the hobby. Isopods are not just a business to us—they are something we truly enjoy working with. We breed all of our colonies ourselves, focusing on Cubaris, Armadillidium, Porcellio laevis, and Porcellionides pruinosus, ensuring healthy and well-maintained cultures.

Our brand is built on balance. We aim to be premium but still approachable, educational but still simple, and professional while remaining friendly and hobbyist-driven. At our core, we are a chill hobbyist community—like a friend in the hobby who is always open to questions, learning, and sharing knowledge.

Our values are honesty, transparency, education, consistency, and innovation. We strive to improve the isopod hobby by addressing common gaps in the community—through healthier colonies, better communication, fair practices, and a more welcoming experience for both beginners and experienced keepers.

What makes us different is our focus on both quality and connection. We want every interaction to feel personal and trustworthy. Alongside breeding, we also aim to share photography and vlog-style content to help people appreciate isopods in a more visual and meaningful way.

The Crawl Co. is based in the Philippines and currently focused on building strong, healthy colonies. While we are not selling yet, we plan to begin offering isopods starting January 2027. From there, our goal is to expand nationwide, and eventually grow into an internationally recognized brand in the isopod community.

Our long-term vision is simple: to grow as many species as possible while maintaining quality, care, and consistency in every colony we produce.
